OMG! i found this clip on YouTube from Roisin Murphy's AMAZING performance here in NYC at deep. This was the night I fell in love.. I knew some of the moloko stuff and was actually obsessed with the Chocolate Puma Mix of "Never Enough", but I didn't realize that Roisin Murphy was a) white and b) FABULOUS!!! watching this clip gives me chills, hahaha. Here she is performing the Mousse T mix of "Sing It Back." Roisin gave the most amazing performance, including wearing this amazing Cher-esque head-piece and ultimately collapsing on stage at the very end. She begun the evening by dancing in the crowd and then continued dancing post-performance. She is fucking adorable and basically the same height as moi. I love Roisin!!!!

This is a remix I did with Reed McGowan several months ago for the wonderful Jessica Vale. The track is very catchy and I really like the direction this remix took.. i hate my life

In the never ending struggle to find my place in the world, I have to ocassionally temp in order to (try to) pay (some of) my bills. Today, I'm temp-ing at this company. It seems like it could be cool, but of course I am the little office monkey. No one has bothered to tell me really what to do aside from answer phones, BUT they have this fucking annoying phone system (by a company called Grandstream) which no one has shown me how to use, so they're all treating me like i'm a retard.

As many of you may know, I am obsessed with Roisin Murphy.She is the most exciting and talented artist and she just keeps getting better! I had the privilege to be at club Deep here in New York when, in May 2006 at Danny Krivit's Sunday party, she performed three Moloko-era tracks. I liked some of the Moloko stuff as well as her single with Boris D'Lugosch ("Never Enough", download my remix here), but I wasn't really a fan- YET. I was blown away by her stage presence and her love for dancing and dance music. I immediately wen out and bought her debut solo album, Ruby Blue and that album is still in heavy rotation. Anyway, I will definitely be blabbing on about her more in the future, so in the meantime, watch this amazing live performance from BBC's Culture Show

LaToya Jackson - I Don't Play That (Armed & Famous) (Remixes)

so naturally, I was obsessed with LaToya Jackson's prime-time debut on the reality show, Armed & Famous. Miss Jackson as a police officer was amazing. When I heard she was doing a single about her experience as a cop, I knew I had to be involved with it- so when Jared (Jones) told me he was remixing the single, I begged him to let me work on it. The result was pretty good, but since the network cancelled the show, LaToya cancelled all plans for the release. Jared did some hot mixes on his own too, but here is our collaboration. Btw, my favourite lyric, sampled throughout the dub is: "I hear the children say / daddy's beating mama come right away." Genious!!

Scissor Sisters - Land of a Thousand Words

I had the great opportunity to remix the lead single ("I Don't Feel Like Dancin'") from the Scissor Sisters' last album with Reed McGowan and the Sisters' tour DJ, Sammy Jo (who is FOXY, btw). Anyway, that project lead to the chance to do a solo remix for the second single ("Land of a Thousand Words"). This mix (along with Don't Feel Like Dancin) was official and submitted to their A&R person, but never released. So, here it is!
